These sumo menko date from 1956 timeframe, but I've never been able to understand what Yoshibayama has around his neck? There seem to be two different styles. Anyone have any idea or a sumo magazine from this timeframe that might mention something about it? He is the only rikishi I've seen with it...someone suggested it might be a special prize during an exhibition match. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated! Thanks! Ryan
