GeoffD 0 Posted January 29, 2009 Hello one and all My name is Geoff and I am an American, living in Japan for some 20 years. I, my wife (Japanese), and two daughters are all big sumo fans, albeit of different rikishi. I have also written a book about an American who becomes a sumo wrestler, largely by accident. I'd love any and all comments, critiques (well, don't be too cruel!), and advice The novel, "Melvin, the Sumo Wrestler" can be viewed, for free, of course, at www.worthyofpublishing.com Let me know what you all think
Sasanishiki 57 Posted January 29, 2009 I've just flicked through most of the introduction and it is an interesting read. However, I have found one point to correct. If, as I suspect, Melvin is about to join a heya, he would need to be 23 years old or younger as the Nihon Sumo Kyokai has an age cut-off. Currently Melvin is 24. Manekineko 200 Posted February 3, 2009 Comments on Melvin moved to the other GeoffD's books thread. I'll leave this thread open for the usual chuck-salt and welcome posts, and if you want to comment on GeoffD's writing please use the other thread. Thank you.
