Harry 67 Posted January 7, 2009 NHK definitely shows live makuuchi matches every day 4pm-6pm JST or 2am-4am EST (3:30pmJST/1:30amEST on senshuraku) but I don't know what "NHK World TV" is. Takamizakura 1 Posted January 8, 2009 To get NHK sumo broadcasts in Estonia, you will probably have to subscribe to JSTV, which broadcasts on Hotbird 13 East. JSTV broadcasts around 2 hours a day for weekend matches, and 85 minutes on weekdays. There is no sumo highlights broadcast as there are on NHK Japan and other NHK Premium stations. Harry 67 Posted January 8, 2009 TVJapan used to have highlight shows but for Kyushu and maybe Aki they were on the programme guide but not actually broadcast. I'm not sure what hatsubasho will do but you'd best set up your PVRs as you may not be able to catch the highlight shows on TVJapan. My PVR is stupid and often doesn't pick up the senshuraku broadcast if I just say record all shows with this title so you too may want to make sure that senshuraku is recorded.
