This is a repeat poll from last year.

The results of which can be found here: 2008

Last year five yushos went to Yokozunas, and one went to an Ozeki. How about this year? Cast your vote.............NOW!

I think Harumafuji will win one yusho, Asashoryu will win one or two yusho and Hakuho the other three or four yusho. That makes it five yusho for yokozunas, one for ozekis and none for anyone below ozeki.

Two yushos for Harumph, in becoming a Yokozuna - the other four for Hakuho - 4 to Yokozunas and 2 to Ozeki.

Hakuho-4; Asashoryu-1 and I have a sneaky suspicion that this will be Bart's year. I predict he'll take one and come close to Ozeki promotion (but not quite make it.)

I will be closing this poll in about a week's time. Still time to vote (Just what doctor ordered...)

Time to close this poll.

The most interesting (for me at least) thing to note is that we expect a non-Yokozuna to win at least one Yusho, and possibly two.

Well, the yushos went as follows:-

January - Y1W Asashoryu (14-1)

March - Y1W Hakuho (15-0)

May - O1W Harumafuji (14-1)

July - Y1E Hakuho (14-1)

September - Y1W Asashoryu (14-1)

November - Y1W Hakuho (15-0)*

This is the first year since 1983 that all yushos in Makunouchi have been taken with a 14-1 or 15-0 - Not bad eh?

5 yushos went to the Yokozunas.

1 yusho went to an Ozeki.

I'd say that we were pretty much accurate with our predictions for this one.

*I will change later, if I am wrong (Clapping wildly...)
