*Yokozuna Haridashi is meant to indicate a Yokozuna below the top two ranks of Ozeki East and West. However, this term is being used wrongly. You can find out why, by checking out this old thread.

The third question is for Yushos plus Jun-yushos, in other words, how many bashos will Hakuho be in the Yusho race.

I can see Ama pushing to become Yokozuna - so I'm thinking he will take two Yushos (July, September?), and get his tsuna.

The other yushos going to Hakuho.

4 yushos (1 to Asa, 1 to Ama) (Showing respect...) ; 5 (jun)yushos - being injured in one of tourneys and not finishing it.

I will be closing this poll in about a week's time. Still time to vote (Just what doctor ordered...)

Wow! All but one of us predict that Hakuho will be the top dog on the January 2010 banzuke. Maybe Asashoryu will still prove us wrong?

Four seems to be the magic number regarding yushos for Hakuho - which would be a good year for him.

We expect him to be challenging for the Yusho (achieving Yusho or Jun-yusho) in 5 or all 6 of the year's bashos - just what we should expect from a strong Yokozuna. (Doing a wave...)

(The last time Hakuho did not win either the Yusho or Jun-Yusho was back in July 2007, when he only ended up with an 11-4 record.)

Hakuho will be Yokozuna 1 East on the January 2010 banzuke (so all but one of guessed that correctly.)

Hakuho won 3 yushos (so we were close).

Hakuho also won 3 Jun-Yushos (all losses in Yusho play-offs) - so 6 in total for JY + Ys. Not bad! But nearly half of us predicted that.
