Kintamayama 47,343 Posted October 6, 2008 (edited) The 67th All-Japan rikishi tournament was held at the Kkan today. The winner was Ama (2nd time) who beat Hakuhou in the finals with oshidashi, taking home the 2.5 million yen prize. He beat Komusubi Baruto by yorikiri in the semifinals. The Juryo yusho was won by YMY. Asked what he would do with the money, Ama replied: "I'll eat all sorts of yummy stuff, get fat, and gambarize!!". Regarding his Ozeki run: "I'll be concentrating on doing good keiko and will do my best to do sumo that will delight everyone!!".
