I don't know how much this topic was discussed (online/offline) , but in that article it said that Takanoumi (Mr. ten-gallon-hat from Texas) quit sumo because he had no enthusiasm "yaruki" for the sport, and that it could not be helped "shoganai." Taiho is one of the most famous yokozuna in modern history. Hakuho and many others borrow his image by using part of his shikona in their shikona. But I met his mother Purevbadam and interview with her. Some pictures placed Asa's school wall, some pictures took from Asa's teacher. And Mrs. Purevbadam gave me few pics. Regarding the picture it is the scene of the Japanese Sumo Association sponsor from Tokyo Ningyocho's Royal Park Hotel conducting "the national prize winner Chiyonofuji's celebration party." Mr. and Mrs. Chiyonofuji national prize winner in the middle, pro baseball's Ou Sadaharushi (shi is more formal than san) on the right and Kinugasa Sachioshi (again, shi for san) on the left. I'm sorry, Heisei is of course what I meant, 平成 but I made the error initially and copied it thereafter... Showa 1 would obviously be before the war. Thanks for the correction. I bought it in December for 700 yen, then in January someone gave my a second calender. I gave that one to my new neighbor.
