Kaikitsune Makoto 203 Posted September 25, 2003 Tumppi is literally "cigarette remnant" in Finnish (Laughing...) You know the thing that remains after one smokes a cigarette/tobacco. But the nickname Tumppi has no negative association as might well be imagined when someone is called "cigarette remnant" (Sign of approval) In Karjaa people play handboll and understand Swedish! Karjaa on the other hand means literally "cattle" in certain form of word. Minulla on karjaa! I have cattle! B-)
Kotoseiya Yuichi 3 Posted September 25, 2003 Hot, exotic Karjaa. Oh, it's smaller than Lieto... B-)

Tumppi 0 Posted September 26, 2003 I dont know if I'd say Tumppi sounds Japanese to be honest but Im not really the expert here. Tumppi does distinctly NOT sound Japanese For starters' date=' there is no "Tu" in Japanese Thomashimaru sounds a little more like it! Cheers Z.[/quote'] Ok boys, you made it exceptionally clear. :-P I don't know if "Thomashi" means anything but at least it sounds Japanese ;-) Tumppi: I think it says "Tanikaze" in Yubi-zeki's avatar' date=' but I'll wait for his final verdict. [/quote']Indeed Ok' date=' they all look the same.. (Sigh...) ;-) Tumppi is literally "cigarette remnant" in Finnish You know the thing that remains after one smokes a cigarette/tobacco. (Applauding...) May I ask where you got that knowledge?? (Holiday feeling...) At least I don't live in Pohja. B-) Hot' date=' exotic Karjaa. Oh, it's smaller than Lieto... [/quote']Hot and exotic indeed! I'm not quite sure about Lieto but I'm sure you're right, here lives about 10000 inhabitants so it's not very big. But our school is quite big since everyone from Inkoo, Pohja and Mustio go there! QUOTE (Kintamayama ) Butt doesn't sound nice.. better not tell anybody (Blushing...) Kaikitsune Makoto 203 Posted September 26, 2003 You are absolutely right about Karjaa too! May I ask where you got that knowledge?? Urheiluruutu :-/ "BK-46 Karjaalta voitti 18276. mestaruuden otteluvoitoin 3-0". That was common comment in the 1980s and 1990s I think. Nowadays I guess there are others who can actually beat your team. "Hur k
