Hokutoriki yusho watch

Recommended Posts

Hokutoriki is looking good so far. Is this the re-awakening of The Incredible Hulkatoriki that seems to spring loose every couple of years?

Funny... When I saw the thread title, I was sure it was started by Nishinoshima. (Laughing...)

Unfortunately not. The Hokutoriki that stopped Asashoryu's 35 match unbeaten streak and was only prevented from lifting the emperors cup by a Hakuho henka on senshuraku was a forward moving version.

Care to reconsider? Hokutoriki has more wins than Hakuho now.

Have to say I've been impressed with what I've seen of him so far. He looks a completely different rikishi.

This version of Hokutoriki is very good for sumo. There's not many things as beautiful as watching Hokutoriki display forward-moving oshi-sumo with authority. ;-)

I need no convincing of Hokutoriki's greatness. I just wish others would quit thinking I'm joking.

I'm confused. Only 4 posts above the one I quoted you are writing him off ;-)

normal stuff ....

the "Forces of Sumo" are having their yearly LSD festival this time around. The whole of Hakkaku is doing so-so (or worse if you are Kaiho) and Riki is stellar .... :-D

the bubble will burst tomorrow with a nifty hikiotoshi from Wakanoho.

Hokumania is still running wild, brother.

And a spotters badge for you. You identified it early on. I'm liking this version of Nishi's robot.

Hokutoriki should be waiting for a faulty tachiai tomorrow. :-O

he is never doing any actual tachi-ai himself so the chances of a successful henka are minimum (Hakuho notwithstanding). (Laughing...)

hikiotoshi loss anyway ...

Hokumania was a lie. A sham. A flim-flam. He's just Hokutoriki.

C'mon...a little training, eating right, saying his prayers and taking his vitamins, and Hokumania will be running wild again. (Laughing...)

I'm warning y'all, you ignore this topic at your own peril. (Sign of approval...)

Hulkatoriki hasn't forgotten what Hakuho did to him 52 months ago...

As much as I can't stand Kakuryu, he's gonna beat your Hoaxster tomorrow. My guess... uwatedashinage.

Ah, Hokutoriki, the human yoyo. Bottom of Makunouchi and he looks like he is priming himself for yokozune. Maegashira 2 or higher, and he looks like he started the tournament with his arms back at the shitakubeya. Bless his little heart.

How could you not like Kakuryu? How could anyone not like Kakuryu? Or rather how would anyone have the nerve to admit it on the forum and risk the wrath of Fay?

Oh, she knows my stance on the matter. I guess she's OK with it... Right, Fay? (if it makes any difference, I like Kotoshogiku)
