Hakubobo 0 Posted October 15, 2007 (edited) Hello everybody. I've been interested in sumo for a while now and I have been wanting to get into it for a good amount of time. I like to watch Sumo matches on YouTube before my brother downloads too much and I can no longer watch videos. I think it's a very exciting sport and I think it would be even more exciting to get into it ~ That's why I joined here. I live in Australia and I speak English goodly. I have read about sumo on Wikipedia and I have a fair understanding of things. Well, probably not but you guys can help me. ;-) Yeah~! Johnofuji 232 Posted October 17, 2007 G'day mate and welcome We know what Hakubobo means.Have you met Kintamayama yet?Have you taken any Iced Vovo bikkies to Japan? Our illustrious OZ Sumo President Katrina has a great story about the coconut encrusted pink biscuits with a red stripe in the centre. If you think that's rude just ask a Japanese person to pronounce Qantas. Which side of the island are you on?If you are in Steak and Kidney then you and your brother have to drop your daks and whack on a mawashi- unless you are from a divergent lifestyle (sorry switched to American)
Hakubobo 0 Posted October 17, 2007 I have no idea what Hakubobo means. ;-) Haku is from Hakuho and my name is Beau. So I thought, Hakubo but that's too plain. Hakubobo sounded better. I live in Melbourne.

I will let you know when we do our jungyo in Melbourne again but I'm not sure Federation Square won't let us order what we like at Chocolate Budda again. Hakubobo 0 Posted October 17, 2007 I wouldn't mind a more proper Shikona. Isn't there somebody here that gives people them?
Johnofuji 232 Posted October 17, 2007 No keep it. Its priceless or maybe you could be Bouboubobo. I shouldn't tease especially as it sounds like you still live at home if you have to share the net with your brother. There was an episode of the Simpsons where Mr Burns was looking for his teddy bear called Bobo.

Doitsuyama 1,194 Posted October 20, 2007 Holy cow! How many different meaning does it have? Hahaha! You should concentrate on meaning 18 as that's the only one with Japanese origin. The other are not important here.
