I also made it possible for a member to see the poll results without losing their own right to vote in the same poll. There are a lot to do all over the forum now as I've let it grow wild in some places. To do a proper job for once, I've decided to turn forum completely off for a few days some time next week after the banzuke release, tidy it up everywhere and try out something a bit more sophisticated than a plain standard IPB 1.2 installation. I'm not sure about the exact dates yet but be prepared to see the forum disappear and resurface next week. I hope to offer something worth waiting for. Thank You for your patience and support. Rijicho 6 Posted August 28, 2003 I found somewhat unexpectedly a buyer to my computer equipment. Getting rid of the computer is only part of my intention to leave all possible electronic media behind me. That includes cell phone and TV. (I am not worthy...) It's a long story. This sudden and unforseen change unfortunately postpones the cosmetic update I have been planning since the migration to this current script. I suppose I'm forced to think things over during the Aki Basho but rest assured I remain committed to this forum. You just need to be prepared to wait a bit longer for my administrative actions as I won't have a 24/7 Internet connection in front of me any more. Rijicho 6 Posted September 9, 2003 Finally I managed to secure myself a decent Internet access and everything's more or less back to normal as far as the administration of this forum goes. I'm genuinely sorry for my absence of more than a week but the world kept on conspiring against me. Nevertheless, that was then and this is now. The basho is on and I intend to salvage personally what can be salvaged. I aim to make small changes to the forum every now and then. Very minor ones, that is. Fixes of small but annoying things etc. The bigger (cosmetic) update I had somewhat prepared before Aki Basho will be carried out but naturally not during a basho.
