Kyokutenho (Not) Retired

While reading the article in the Mainichi Shimbun about Asashoryu being banned I saw that Kyokutenho had retired. Has anyone else heard abou this and is it true?

I went back to the story to paste up here and found that the article has changed and is much shorter. The bit about Kyokutenho retiring is now removed.

I'm pretty certain I did read the one liner about Kyokutenho (as it referred to him having bein banned recently for the driving offence).

I think it was just a mistake, quickly rectified, in the English version. The Japanese version of this story refers to Kyokutenho being banned in May and dropping a division, that's probably where the error about his retirement came in. The paragraph about Kyokutenho is now missing from the English version of this story in this paper
