Hello from the Netherlands

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone,

I've been reading these boards an awful lot lately and figured it was no longer cool being just a tourist here and I should start submitting my opinions and revalations as well.

My name is Danny and I'm from Rotterdam, the Netherlands. I am a 31 year old Amateur Rikishi with torn ankle ligaments after being yorikired into a folded lining of a practice dohyo... Hopefully I'll be up and about soon enough to enter the different international tournaments soon and meet some of you guys.

I started Sumo about a year ago after being really impressed by the biography of Akebono which I picked up on a holiday in Hawaii.

Well... that's all for now I guess...

Cheers

I guess you know exactly what Toyonoshima feels these days. But I probably don't think the guy who made you a part of your dohyo was named Asashoryu.

I hope you can recover well so we can soon see your name in one of major international sumo tournaments.
