Hi I'm Tom,

I'm from Europe (Belgium). I've always liked sumo, but I've only really been into it for about 8 months. It's one of the most (if not the most) interesting, exciting sports I know. And I love everything about it. But compared to most people on this site, I'm propably a 'noob':). I'm also into grappling and mma (all my favorite mma fighters come from Japan btw). I'd love to do recreational sumo, but I can't find a club anywhere in Belgium. I train grappling 5x a week. This looks like a cool site and I'm glad I could join it. ;-)

Hi,

why don't you commute to Netherlands? I hope you'll get more information soon.

Hi Tom and welcome to the forum. the Dutch team (competitive not recreational) trains in Rotterdam, which could be the closest sumo club to where you live. If you are intereseted, have a look at www.sumobond.nl

Hello there

a new member from Belgium, that makes 3 if I'm not mistaken!! ;-)

As far as I know there are no sumo clubs in our beloved country (Spooky TV program...) , maybe try with the Dutch?

Groeten en veel leesgenot op het forum
