Golynohana 320 Posted September 20, 2006 To which e-mail address should I send my seki-toto and banchsumo picks?
Takamueda 0 Posted September 20, 2006 Kofuji sent this email to the Yahoo Group: It looks like there is a problem with internet access to our host's servers. Both servers appear to be off line and a ping shows that the network in that area is unavailable. Hopefully Akisunni will be able to resolve the problem. Things seemed to be fine 4 hours ago. If there's someone from the west coast of the US on the list (or with cheap long distance calls), you can contact me at breimer at eim dot ae (since my sumogames mail is also out of service) to get Akisunni's phone number to check up on it. Regards, Kofuji

Anjoboshi 2 Posted September 20, 2006 From Takanorappa in the bench-sumo yahoogroups: --- Well, it's probably time we GG's start earning our pay, huh... Just in case the server doesn't get back up, here's the GGs for Day 12. M = Kuramarujo J=Takanorappa ms=Gernobono sd=Fujisan jd=Tsunamiko Cheers, Takanorappa --- My ISP pick would be Kisenosato, but since there is a droning-function, I'll be fine with whatever the server picks for me (and probably this will proof that random is just good enough to beat me at a sumo game ;) )
Taka 33 Posted September 21, 2006 Hmm what about Sekitori Toto? Email someone? Post them here? On the yahoo group?

See: http://www.anasuya.com/toto/rules.html Anjoboshi Edit: Errr ... too slow. ^_^ Edited September 21, 2006 by Anjoboshi
Fukurou 534 Posted September 21, 2006 (edited) Does anyone have an address for sending in ISP picks? I'll go with my auto-pick/drone if I have to, but I'm not sure I want to. Edited September 21, 2006 by Fukurou

Fujisan 533 Posted September 21, 2006 Could it be that the server guy is just fine tuning it? I seem to remember it happening before just after coming back online.
Kintamayama 45,143 Posted September 21, 2006 (edited) Could it be that the server guy is just fine tuning it?I seem to remember it happening before just after coming back online. "The server guy" has no internet access for some reason, and we are all waiting for it to return. The only game totally affected is ISP, as Bench and Toto can be sent in manually. Still, if by chance we do get a connection, we'll see. It's Doitsuyama's call this basho, thankfully.. Edited September 21, 2006 by Kintamayama
aderechelsea 125 Posted September 21, 2006 i've just sent my entries to max (seki-toto) and to manekineko (bench) but if the server goes up soon i'll send them through the automation again to save them the trouble ....
Kotoseiya Yuichi 3 Posted September 22, 2006 Would it be possible to run the game scripts on another server as a backup in case sumogames.com acts up again? Technically doable, I suppose but would the different gamemasters allow it? What about a single, centralized game entry page for the most popular daily games? And centralized kosho announcement service which, I think, was planned many moons ago?

And centralized kosho announcement service which, I think, was planned many moons ago? The idea is not only excellent, but essential. We just need someone to do it. I'm sure there are more than three people out there who CAN. But WILL they? It's time we take a bit of the pressure off Kofuji who probably would like it as well..
