(Holiday feeling...) Depending on which part of Great Britain he comes from, he would probably describe himself as 'Scot,' 'Welsh' or 'English.' If he was feeling so inclined, he might say that he is 'British' but rarely (if ever) would he describe himself as a 'Brit.' I might be completely wrong as I've never met James.....
