bulsara wrote: Any comments from Kokkai about Wakahenkanoho's awful win? ----------------- When we did not hear anything from Kokkai for obvious reasons - I have a comment: Kaiho did the same a few times at his prime. The crowd and I enjoyed as well as today. Today's kimarite could have been uwatenage in stead of hikiotoshi = henka?. The fine videos in Info-Sumo show Wakanoho's hand on the mawashi. http://www.info-sumo.net/info/modules.php?...opic&t=4063 The only "awful" thing was Kokkai's disrespectful demeanour. The gyoji had to ask for a second bow after the bout and there was nothing to blame on Wakanoho's first one.

I welcome Musashimaru's comeback for many obvious (Applauding...) and some homespun reasons (Censored) . I wonder why his 3 consecutive kyujos were not under the Takanohana-like counting. What was again the earlier record for those consecutive kyujos before Takanohana's 6? (In a state of confusion...) Gambatte! Hakajusakari ;-) B-)

To exchange one's thoughts with somebody else, only one, to continue from where Kaikitsune-zeki closed. I am smiling and maybe not willing to engage with the exchange unless I am convinced that the new one I'm recieving is a better one. I am anyway enclined to agree with Kaikitsune-zeki that Buyuzan will be a step or two too high in the ladder in Haru. I don't know either if I should use a clickable Smilie or not.

Here is a short extract from my Bench Sumo interview I gave to a local MTV (MirrorTV) today. Interviewer: How do feel after this kachikoshi performance 9-6 of yours? Hakajusakari: I would like to congratatulate Ozeki Doitsuyama-zeki for winnig the Yusho. I like to thank him also for the kind words he chose to express in the pre bout comment. I like to thank all my supporters and the wonderful audience for support. I like to thank all my coaches, both mental and physical and my Suomi-heya rikishies, particularly Kaikitsu-zeki to whom I lost on Senshuraku, for their support and advice and training bouts. Congratulations to Kotoseiya-zeki too for his outstanding recovery on Senshuraku. I feel very happy. Interviewer: You lost the three last bouts. Can you explain? Hakajusakari: It was the first time I could meet these prominent sanyuka rikishies (bowing). My sumo is not really ready for their standard, but I did my best. I hope I learned something and can improve my performance in the future. I had some sweet victories too. Interviewer: Can you name one? Hakajusakari: I could, but won't. Interviewer: What are your future plans? Hakajusakari: I hope I can see Takamisakari being healthy and do well in Natsu basho. (bowing) My dream is he will be promoted after Natsu back in makuuchi. Interviewer: And your own plans? Hakajusakari: I hope I can develope my sumo and dream of having Takamisakari in my Bench Team in Haru. I try train hard during Jungyo against the new sanyuka friends and always do my best. I hope I can stay healthy both mentally and physically. Interviewer: Injuries are natural, maybe essential, part of Sumo as we know too well looking around. And how about a bit further away? Hakajusakari: I can't see far away, I am fairly old for an activive fighting rikishi, but I have some plans and goals to meet yet. Interviewer: Can you open some of those a little. Hakajusakari: In six years I am 64 (Haka) and have to leave then at the latest my active fighting sumo. I am collecting and saving money to be able to acquire my own Bench Sumo Beya. Interviewer: Do you have rich relatives or friend. Your achievements in money terms are not so great? Hakajusakari: You are right. Here comes the juu in. Kotoseiya-seki told me that Gaijingai-zeki had changed the currency of the price-list due to some outside pressure from dollars to lira after their Senshuraku bout or had it something to do with the bout itself. That piece of news was highly appreciated by me. Thank you to both of them. Interviewer: Thank you for the Interview. Hakajusakari: Thank you. Kaada itselles vaan! (bowing)
