HOW IT WORKS To play, simply type who you think will win in an upcoming bout featuring a Sanyaku ranked rikishi. Selections must be made 1 hour before the start of the first bout of the day (no exceptions) You will receive 1 point for every correct prediction. 3 points for Kinboshi bonus 2 points for a Maegashira win over an Ozeki Bonus 1 point bonus for Komusubi beating a Yokozuna Results will be compiled in a running tally using the below point system throughout the Basho. 1st place will get 5 points 2nd place will get 3 points 3rd place will get 1 point Correctly picking all winners will be a bonus of 2 points. (If you want to make a change to the picks you make before the deadline, send a DM with updated picks)

Very interested to watch the last three bouts for this day and I'm wondering what people are thinking. PS this is my first poll, so sorry if its buggy or not placed where it should or not something that should be posted. Just testing the waters and trying this out Thanks

Nishigiki seemed to have just given up on the edge there. He accepted defeat even though I do not think defeat was inevitable (look at the other bouts where rikishi straddled the edge and put up a fight!) His spirit seems out of it by day 3

What happened to that website? They just gave up or something?

Hello, I've been interested in Sumo and watched since 2007 when I first seen it on Japanese TV while visiting Japan from America. I have since been back 4 times to Japan but my intterest has never stopped since the March tournament of 2007! I have never joined a forum, except the chat in the old website SumoTalk (anyone remember that place?) Anyway, I hope to get involved on the forums and games and to reading and engaging with you all! I see him retiring in 2025. I think he will sit out in January for injury, the YDC will begin issuing warnings, and come the March or May basho he retires.
