I´m a Portuguese sumo fan, last year while in Tokyo I made a quick visit to the Kokugikan and there were several rikishi doing their medical tests (I think), I took photos of a few of them but I don´t recognize many, most were young rikishi as they didn´t have their topknot yet.
I can see that most people here are really knowledgeable I think it will be possible to identify the rikishi from the pictures I took, at least most of them.
All pictures were taken on August 21st 2023 (I hope this is the right subforum for this thread).
I start with those I know,
1 - Takanosho was the easiest one:
2 - By then I never heard of Onosato:
3 - I think there´s Aonishiki on the left, the others I don´t have a clue:
4 - This one may be difficult because of the face mask:
