Will the streaming stay on your channel for watching later?
It sure will

I recorded these old Bashos from Eurosport twenty something years ago. They did a 15 minute highlights of each day (not all the bouts, but the most important ones are always included), I'm planning on streaming all the days at once. Of course feedback is always welcome, if you guys think a nearly 4 hour stream is too long, I can always cut it in half and stream the halves on Saturday and Sunday.

Hello there Sumo maniacs,
I'm sure most (if not all) of you remember the good "old" days of Akebono, Musashimaru, Takanohana etc...
How would you like to join a little Classic Basho watch-party over on YouTube this Saturday?
I'm gonna be streaming the Natsu Basho from May 2000, the stream starts at 4PM JST (regular starting time for Makunouchi)
Come check it out at https://youtube.com/live/5DDBCS-_yXA?feature=share
If there's enough interest, we could make it a weekly thing (different Basho each Saturday obviously).
Hope to see you on Saturday

A crazy amount of stats on screen Anyway, I learned that Wakatakakage is 5'12", not quite 6 feet tall

With just a few days to go until Nagoya I'm here again with some news. The IPTV source I've been using for recent Bashos has gone. For a while it looked like I'd have to go back to Japanese commentary but I worked my way around it so we won't be left without Murray and company :)
Hopefully everything will be ok on Twitch as well. See you on Sunday and don't forget to join us on Discord. When you do, make sure to check out our own Sumo game there :)

Hello Sumo fans,
Only a few days to go until the May Tournament kicks off. As I promised I'll start my streams earlier than the last 3 Bashos. On weekdays I'll try to start at Juryo (if I manage to get up that early ) and on weekends a little later when NHK G start their coverage, normally at 3:05 JST.
I was adviced by one of my mods to open a Discord server so that my viewers and followers can chat about sumo during or even between tournaments if they feel like it. Here's the invite link for it:
You can also follow and contact me on FB

See you all on Sunday

Again, it's over. Thanks all for picking my channel. Over 1100 followers, over 200 000 total channel views, and over 500 live viewers today. Pretty nice numbers :)
Once again, big thanks to quite a few really knowledgable folks in the chatroom for patiently educating the newcomers, a huge thanks to the mods for keeping it nice and tidy and a special thanks to my supporters for all the generous donations.
7 weeks without Sumo now, not my favourite weeks, already looking forward to May the 12th. And remember, because of the clocks being set back to summer-time I'm planning on streaming Juryo as well in the next 3 Bashos.
Have a nice spring Everyone and see you all in May :)

Can anyone else confirm what Amamaniac says? Because when I click on any of my videos (even when logged out of my account) I can watch all of them.
https://www.twitch.tv/mbovosumo/videos
All 8 videos in the top row are working for me.

Just a heads up, all first 8 days are available on my twitch channel.

Just a quick update, the number of followers has indeed increased to over a 1000 (proud moment) and in case some of you haven't noticed I keep the VOD accessible so you can watch any of the past days if you missed it. Twitch automatically deletes the videos after 14 days but I guess if you haven't watched what you missed for 14 days you're not that interested :)

Hello again, everyone!
With ony a few days left until Haru Basho kicks off, I have some pretty good news. The iptv service I used for my stream in January has got much better, the annoying choppy, glitchy video is in the past. I will stream in 1080p 60fps but of course you can change the settings in the bottom right hand corner.
I can't wait for Sunday morning (where I live), I hope to see you all ;)

Another memorable Basho has just finished and I want to say thanks to the viewers, chatters, mods, and a huge thanks for the generous donations which helped me towards ordering a new, better and stronger Android box. I really hope it will mean significant improvement in the quality and stability of the stream.
I also hope that the number of followers will hit 1000 in March, see you all then ;)

1 hour ago, Adil said:Are there any other sources where I can watch the entire makuuchi broadcast with Japanese commentary?
I'm really not sure, I have done my best to find an English source and lost track of Japanese ones. There is another topic for live streaming options, I'm sure you'll find something there.

Hey Everyone and Happy New Year!
The long wait is almost over, in a few days it's Sumo time again. I have some news about my channel. Some of them bad, some of them pretty good.
I'll start with the bad ones. From this upcoming Basho I'll only stream the last two hours of each day (if it's bad news at all, with the ever growing number of options around, it may not be), also there may be a bit of a step down in quality and stability. Nothing major though, it still is 720p with minor glitches in the stream... In my mind it's still a small price to pay for the good news, the long awaited English commentary and the fact that it'll be nearly live. I've been testing this service for weeks and all the programs start promptly on time (obviously my streaming software takes a few seconds to push the stream through to twitch). Of course, it's going to be a test and hopefully it will work well but in case it doesn't I'll make sure the usual Japanese stream is available as a backup.
I can hardly wait, see you all on Sunday at 4PM JST.

It surely wasn't Hiro Morita today, he would have given me a headache. I think it was Ross Mihara.
