May I have your attention please.
This is my Yusho acceptance speech for wave 14. I remember (thanks to my Excel sheet) my first pick in wave 1 back in Aki 2005. It was Fujimura, who went intai in January of 2022.
After years of picking exclusively in Shikoroyama-beya, I decided to drop this foolishness and to pick from all heyas. Never picked Abi.
Took me 18 waves (= 18 years) to win one. Once again, only Jakusotsu saw my potential by keeping this game alive as long as it would take. Thank you.
