Huh, looks like you are correct, I did the terrible thing of assuming that O1/O2 etc were treated as different ranks for GTB, but looking back at my second entry I got 1 pt each for Haramafuji/Kakuryu being switched over Y1/Y2. Every day is a school day At least its only 2 points dropped due to my own stupidity!

Talking of glaring errors, I was so concerned about the Komosubi question that I forgot to swap Shodai and Asanoyama That's 4 points dropped already, great

Looking at the guys he's likely to fight in January, I think he will have one last brawling hurrah, get repromoted to makuuchi then slide all the way down to bottom of juryo to retire at his home basho.

I'm going to be positive and assume everyone stays vaguely healthy: Takakeisho Y Terunofuji O1 Asanoyama Shodai O2 Takayasu Shodai holds on by the skin of his teeth, Takayasu repromoted at end of year after claiming first yusho. Asanoyama gets 6 double digit KK but no yusho. Mitakeumi gets another yusho but fails on yet another Ozeki run.

He will also change his shikona to Mumm-ra

Marginal KK 3 times, a 10-5 and a couple of really bad MK.

5 wins and Enho stays up. Guaranteed. I am not generally a fan of slappy sumo, but Takakeisho has solid technique. He also has hinkaku in spades. I am beginning to think I would like to see him as Yokozuna.

That's a bit Sloppy mate, although technically correct, it implies that competition bouts are the only work they do. Take training/travel away from home and public appearances/duties in to account and it's more like 10 cents a second. Slight difference, although still a number I personally wouldn't sniff at

He is almost certainly safe with 5 wins, I think even 4 may do the job, as Abi is definitely down, Ishiura and Kyokutaisei all but certainly down and things aren't looking rosy for Shohozan which would put him 5th in line to go down. I also reckon there's likely to be someone else in front of him (Shimanoumi?) for demotion. Depends what happens in juryo of course , but already I can't personally see more than 4 promotion candidates.

I agree with Amamaniac, my one and only yusho prediction for this basho: Takakeisho takes it with a 12-3 with multiple Jun yushos at 11-4. Hardly crystal ball level predictions to say an Ozeki will win it I guess
