Congratulations @Jakusotsu on a deserved win and thanks again to @Athenayama on running the scores. Let's hope for more choices on senshuraku next basho, though.
-
I've only faced the Doitsuyama rule once. Losing, I think 14-14 to chischafuwaku who ended at 8-7 and I ended at 7-8. Truly Awful, but I don't think it should be changed. Ozumo is the banzuke. Each basho really just determines the next banzuke, everything else including the yusho is extra. So, I think our banzuke should be everything too.

I'm in. I'd like a KK for a change though,
-
Told you so: Be the first one to mention the correct rikishi.
-
No worries. I am not mad. And now we know that you can always declare Abi's opponents and get the same points.
-
Technically speaking, according to my own rules: Jakusotsu chose `not Abi'. Since A) says that the first bout must contain a rikishi from Sanyaku, that means it could be any other Sanyaku rikishi. Choosing any one else that is not Kirishima would net 0 points since the rikishi with the losing record in head-to-head did not win. However, the `not Abi' could mean Kirishima. If I were to lawyer my own game I would say that in such a case the Kirishma pick would yield 2 points (plus bonus) if Abi wins. After all, rule 4 says if the rikishi with the losing record in head-to-head did not win. No where does it mention that the rikishi you pick has to be the one with the worse head-to-head. So, it's up to @Jakusotsu. Does your `not Abi' mean anyone other than Abi or Kirishima (getting you 0 points) or Kirishima (netting you 2+bonus) if Abi wins. No response means a missing pick.
-
I mean. I'm very amused by Jakusotsu's not Abi, so I'm not sternly serious, but I have to be serious enough to accept what players write.
-
We'll I'm being serious. I can't speak for @Jakusotsu
-
As the game owner, I am going to say that we're taking your `not Abi ' at face value. I.e. you have no pick for the Sanyaku. Which is fine, if you want it that way.

I remember Okinoumi's strong start at Aki 2016 and weak finish. He still got the shukun-sho
-
And middle-aged people too. I've just been having a nap.
-
Thank you. Coming from you, this is a big compliment. I have a new job now and I can't put in as much thought as I used to and my results have suffered. I have to work out how to do my new job and put in the thought.

I didn't mention this at the time, but I was going to caution you against using definite statements when something else still could happen. With they way Hakuoho was performing a Hoshoryu vs Hakuoho matchup was on the cards and this is what indeed happened. -

Slightly miffed that @Profomisakari picked Ryuden after I had picked Ryuden, guaranteeing me no chance to win the yusho; but really I should have waited until Profo picked to stand a chance, and then i would have picked differenetly and then been wrong anyway. It is a well deserved yusho by Profomisakari nonetheless, who was able to work his way through. Congratulations.

Even I managed to win a Green Mawashi, so that's saying something.

I suppose...

I think @Jakusotsu is right, but I suppose it ought to try to make things interesting 15 Ryuden
-
You also have to pick better or equal to everyone else at 7-7
-
Quite. Hakuoho vs Hokutofuji made the most sense for Day 14. So I was fairly confident that it wasn't either of them. It didn't help me much though.
-
Going for a curveball 14 Ryuden
