In the dailies, it's pretty much 7-8 everywhere but DST (6-9), TTT (8-7), Quad (9-6--one short of points), a clear KK in Odd, and the inevitable senshuraku collapse in Toto for a large 7.5-point jun-yusho split. Thankfully, some pleasant surprises in the pre-bashos. 7th in Hoshitori for 4 points. Tied for 8th in NC for 2.5 points. 3rd place in Salarycap after day 14 but hellifino where I'll land. 3rd would be a lovely 10 points. So, a definite 14 points, and perhaps 10 more, which would make (I think) a fairly good basho for me. GANBARIMASU

Thanks. It was bizarre enough that I was in the running at all in that game.

Winning on tiebreak against one opponent in Toto for the yusho. I guess a 10th consecutive win should seal it, but I don't really know exactly how big of a lead I have in the tiebreak. This would be an extraordinary change. I'm sure my memory is short on the matter, but if I've gotten points in Toto more than twice before, I'd be surprised, and I don't think I've ever been near the yusho race. I don't think I have a sniff of points anywhere else but Salarycap, where I'm still showing as 2nd place after day 10. GANBARIMASU

It appears Bench can be entered at: http://benchsumo.sumogames.de/DailyEntry.aspx?D=15 But the rest are still borked.

Wins in ISP, Quad (for KK), TTT, and Toto (for 10-3 and, if the results page indicates tiebreak, the yusho lead). MK in Bench. GANBARIMASU

Wins everywhere except ISP (and Odd). By far, my strongest day this basho. Also at what must surely be a personally unprecedented 7-day win streak in Toto, tied for the yusho at 9-3. How that translates into 7-5 in SG I'll never quite understand, but I'll take it. GANBARIMASU!

Wins in DST, ISP, Odd, Quad, Toto, and SG. 8-3 in Toto, for a 7-way tie for 3rd. Still second in Salarycap after day 10. GANBARIMASU

Wins in DST, ISP, Toto (7-3!), and SG. Best chance for dailies points in SG. 2nd place in Salarycap at last update. GANBARIMASU!

Wins only in Bench, ISP, Quad, and Toto--where I'm now 6-3 and in a large tie for 7th. This would seem to be the reverse of my usual, where I do well in every game BUT Toto. Which still makes just as little sense! Also a curious 7-0 win on points in Bench, where I had the outrageous fortune of running into Jakusotsu's 0-man GBL (Also spotted nearby: Damimonay's inverted GBL, where the only winner on their squad was Ichinojo in the 5th bench spot.) Wins in Quad, Toto, and (like everyone else) TTT. 5-3 in Toto is pretty good for me, historically speaking, and for this basho in particular. 4-4 in SG leaves some room for a strong finish. 5-3 in TTT is only two behind the leaders. 4th in Salarycap after day 6, which looks to almost certainly be my strongest pre-basho finish. Won only in Toto. Looks like another basho to write off. I understand I have a LOT of good luck to make up for this year, but hopefully two bashos of bad will be enough. GANBARIMASU

Wins only in Quad, Toto, and (like everyone else) TTT. Looking like I'll have to rely on the pre-bashos for any decent points. GANBARIMASU

404 for the banzuke at sumodb If that keeps up all day and night, I'll have to withdraw from everything. (Which is what I get for waiting until the last day)

SG: Finished with five wins in a row to stop the bleeding at 7-8. As happens far too often, my one loss caused by missing a withdrawal makes the difference between KK and MK. Bench: I ran into so many perfect days this basho. 6-9 DST: 5-10 FS: Tied for 79th of 191. Hoshitori: 1-14 ISP: 7-8 JG: 20th of 66 NC: 9-6 Odd: 44th of 63 Bingo and POG: 5-10 Roto: 27th of 88 Salarycap: Unknown. 26th of 53 as of day 12. Quad: A last-day loss for... 7-8! Tied for 13th. Toto: ...7-8 TTT: A horrible run near the end for... 7-8. Tied for 14th. UDH: 13-2 pace as of day 12. Best chance for great points here. Oracle: 4-way tie for 8th. 1.5 points. So... 1.5 points for sure. Presumably more from UDH. I suppose a long shot for more in Salarycap. What a mess. GANBARIMASU

Some considerable damage control in SG, rallying to 6-8 after a painfully early MK. With one more win, a 7-8 may mean a loss of only four or five ranks, unless that only applies to sanyaku. MK in Bench today (6-8) after what is probably a personal record worst loss ever (3-14). "Rallied" in DST to be TIED for last in Group 2 instead of alone there. A great win in Quad means a tie for 10th at 7-7. An unlikely win on day 15 will mean points, but probably best not to hope for a lot. Blew it in TTT. Tied for 11th. More or less the same story as Quad, but easier to win on day 15 here. I'll be looking forward to the latest Oracle projections. Back-to-back J-J (or J-Y) would be something. GANBARIMASU
