Macaroon is gold.

Exactly. I felt bad Takanosho lost that match.
-
I don't feel bad for him because there was never going to be a 11-4 playoff.
-
Not that I think he would have beat terunofuji in a playoff but that is sad for Takanosho. Congrats to Terunofuji on the yusho.

My guess is Lupus! Oh wait, nevermind. Dr. House says it's never Lupus.

Well, looks like Terunofuji beats a hapless Mitakeumi easily tomorrow. Only question is does Takanosho beat Sadanuomi to force a playoff. I don't know. Takanosho has seemed very nervous the last couple of matches. I doubt he saw himself being in this position after 4-11 last basho.

I wouldn't look at Shodai's schedule speaking to what will happen to anyone else. I think the Kyokai is probably tried of hearing everyone going on about Shodai never having a proper Ozeki schedule and giving him one regardless of record this basho. Shodai is facing Terunofuji because it's ridiculous an Ozeki can avoid meeting a Yokozuna for so long.

I would agree that Mitakeumi may avoid Terunofuji but for a different reason. Avoiding a 3 man playoff. I think if Sadanoumi wins Day 14 he will face Terunofuji Day 15 with the winner potentially facing Takanosho if he wins out. If he loses Sadanoumi will face Takanosho Day 15 and Mitkeumi will face Terunofuji with the winner of Sadanoumi/Takanosho having a chance at playoff if Mitakeumi beats Terunofuji. In the latter scenario though top finisher could only has 11 wins and things could get crazy.

Fashion statement.

You know it's crazy when a guy like Wakatakakage starts 3-5 and beats all 3 ozeki in a row despite a losing record against them and all 3 having won 2 out of 3 matches they had prior to meeting him. Yes, he won last basho but he looked bad, losing to 4 guys he had a winning record against.

That's a lot of pics of Aoiyama. I like Aoiyama but does anyone really need to see that many pictures of him?

I don't know if this matters much, especially as I'm doing terrible, but one of my spots in Bingo is blank. Would it allow me to enter if I left one blank? If so why doesn't my sub take the spot?

That henka from Mitakeumi was awful.
-
If Hokutofuji had gone for a grip with his left hand there then pushed from behind it would literally be exactly the same thing Hoshuryu did using his right. Yet no one, including the narrator here who uses this very match to show what a henka isn't, thinks Hikutofuji henkaed. I don't see how two things so similar can lead one to conclude Hoshuryu definitely henkaed. If Hokutofuji had taken a second step left he'd suddenly be henkaing? Failing to meet a charge directly head on is not the same as avoiding a charge altogether. THAT would be a henka. That's a good video by the way. Don't forget to watch for a cameo by @Kintamayama
