    Komusubi 1W Annenyama wins against M20W Fusanishiki by Uwatenage. 

    With a 13-2 record, Annenyama wins the Makuuchi Yusho.

    Kinboshi for Annenyama who wins against Yokozuna Tochiniski by Yorikiri (the Yokozuna declares his Intai after this fight).

    After Day 14, Yokozuna Asashoryu and Ozeki Tochiazuma lead the Yusho race with 2 lost.
    Today, Asashoryu will fight against Tochiazuma - so the winner of this fight will win the Emperor' Cup.

    Day 13
    Hello :-) back 17 years ago

    The NSK wants that Yokozuna Musashimaru  must come back on the Dohyo for this Kyushu Basho . Musashimaru is not Takanohana. He is still injured and should come back on the Dohyo !
    After one week, he declares his Intai !

    After 12 days, Yokozuna Asashoryu and Ozeki Tochiazuma lead the Yusho race with only one lost.

    Today, Ozeki Chiyotaikai versus Ozeki Tochiazuma, and Yokozuna Asashoryu versus Ozeki Kaio.

    I bought many Sumo DVDs on Amazon Japan some years ago.... when Kotomitsuki was Komusubi for the last time (Laughing...)

    Yokozuna Asashoryu lost his fight against Ozeki Tochiazuma on Day 13... But Ozeki Chiyotaikai lost too... 

    So after Day 13 the Yokozuna still leads the Yusho race and Ozeki Chiyotaikai is still just one win behind (now tied with Maegashira Kotomitsuki)
