In my very professional, definitely wise opinion which is definitely not hastily procured by a random hat-eating crackpot on a forum: Goueidou is not a very good Ozeki. His yusho was an aberration and he's only achieved 10+ wins 3 other times in his 26 ozeki basho. Sure, being ozeki is elite when you consider Ozumo as a whole, but making fun of him is equally valid and usually more fun.

Why would you want him to be kyujo anyway? And I second the thought that wishing an injury on someone isn't cool.

No man, some of it's in his pec and his ligaments. He has a long history of choking, true, but traditionally that happened from day 12 on.

Do you expect any of the yokozunae to get any better over the next 10 basho? None of them are getting any younger, and Kisenosato seems to be as good as done. Nor do any of the current ozeki seem to be making serious bids for imminent promotion.

History supports my prediction alright... I'm doing a deep search to see what other people have done so much while so young. I'll give you a teaser. Among rikishi who have won 3+ shukun-sho, about 58% made it to at least Ozeki, and nearly 30% made it to Yokozuna. Takakeishou has 3, and a yusho, and a jun-yusho, while being the youngest rikishi in makuuchi.

A steak would be the most symbolic option, but that would be far too kind.

Just yesterday I told Kintamayama that if Takakeishou isn't an ozeki within 10 basho, I'll eat my hat. He told me I can start now. I stand by my prediction.

I think GTGTB is a more interesting game that GTGTBB, but the latter just made for a better one-liner. Still, there's something to be said about consistently predicting how much you got wrong, but not knowing what it was that you got wrong.
