He won the Jonokuchi Yusho in Hatsu 2002 but that was the only time I heard about him. As always you can find more for example on Bandey

Sorry for being (Laughing...) but do I feel Terry Pratchett somewhere in here?

I am also one of the "fish family" as my surname means pike (pike-fish) in English (in French le brochet, in German der hecht, in Polish szczupak, in Hungarian csuka, in Latin esox and so on...am I crazy?? (Holiday feeling...) ) I knew nothing about Japanese language in the time I started to be interested in sumo so I used the English version as in a lot of my nicknames and the ending comes simply from the only Czech sumotori Takanoyama (go Pavel (Holiday feeling...) ). BTW:I have a strong feeling that I have already written about this on this forum, but maybe just deja-vu;-). And would anybody here know the Japanese name for "pike-fish"?

This arises a question whether there are any news about Gojoro and Yotsukasa and their possible future within Kyokai?

Asashoryu: (Discussing the Zidane red card like someone who should know) [Losing one's cool] happens sometimes in sumo, too. There must have been a lot of pressure on Zidane. Homasho: (Losing despite charging headlong into opponent) Maybe I should have Zidane teach me the head-first tachiai. That was some hit he gave the other guy. And now tell me, this forum is off-topic. I like these guys and Madorosomaru for sharing their quotes (Blowing up furiously...) .

This announcement came from nowhere to me (Blowing up furiously...) . I was watching the video again and it is true, that he has slided somehow in the match with Kaio, so maybe a knee?? Definitely bad news - I liked the way he

As the start of your post was so sweet and respect bringing to all of us, let me tell you, my expert, that the second red card because of the unexcusable behavior of Zidane you were mentioning came in the match vs Saudi Arabia. (Edit: Sakana was quicklier than me about this - and congratulation to his win (Blowing up furiously...) ) On the other hand I agree with you totaly that ZZ deserved the red card and that he should keep his nerves down. I have seen no post saying anything other than that - so it seems we all are agreeing on this. Still there are many "buts" in the story and I wouldn

I understand what you mean, but it was not FIFA, who was voting for him. They just chose 10 candidates and than the job was up to journalists. By the way I read in newspapers that some of those votes might have been done before the accident. And I still think he deserved it the most (Punk rocker...) .

That makes a sence Gernobono - thanks a lot for explanation (Hugging...) .

Much more terrible day for the Czechs :'-( . This is probably the definite end of a generation, that shone for the first time on the international level on the "silver" Euro 1996 - Poborsky, Nedved, Smicer, Galasek (same age, was not in the squad than). Good job lads - we will remember your contribution to the fame of the Czech football :-D :-) (I am not worthy...) .

Because Pedro Lama has already retired :-) ? Sorry for purely national approach - but it

To me the final score was more or less fair to both teams. When it was 1:1, Sweden has hitted the bar twice and Steven Gerrard had to even kick the ball away from the goal straight from the line. Than Gerrard scored on the other side and I regretted Swedes who played quite well especially thanx to the standard situations. Although it came on the last moment, I guess the equilizer was more than deserved. I am looking forward for the Germany-Sweden match :-) !
