September (Aki) Basho- offical thread (yay..)
Faustonowaka replied to Kintamayama's topic in Honbasho Talk
He will win the yusho, making it back-to-back emperors cups and an instant ozeki-promotion. You read it here first! -
I had a meniscus operation on 1 knee and use the very same bandages while playing basketball. It allows me to perform at 90% of my “normal” capacity without risking further injury. Even with 2 bad knees, a former “near-yokozuna”’Terunofuji at 90% explains his last yusho.

I believe the main argument in the case of Terunofuji’s promotion to ozeki is the fact that a 13-2J - 12-3Y can be enough for a yokozuna promotion, so it certainly is enough for an ozeki promotion, the 8-7 record at M2 has nothing to do with it

Basho Talk - Aki Basho 2016 +++ Spoiler Alert! +++
Faustonowaka replied to Atenzan's topic in Honbasho Talk
In Terunofuji's case it was a 13-2 Jun-Yusho followed by a 12-3 Yusho, both in Sanyaku. As an ozeki, these days this would be enough for a Yokozuna promotion (if you are called Kisenosato) so they could hardly deny him an Ozeki promotion. Takayasu "only" scored a 11-4 last basho... -
Partly correct, a 3km undergroud pipeline connects the ancient brewery in the center of the city with another part of the brewery where the beer is bottled. No direct supply to bars or shops...

Having lived in Ghent for 5 years and having worked in Brussels for over 8 years, I agree that Ghent is far cleaner and has a totally different atmosphere. Have been to Greece too (several times) and I totally loved it, my favourite spot is a restaurant in Molivos harbour on Lesbos.

Have you seen all of Brussels? I doubt it. Some parts of the city might be "filthy" but the historical centre certainly isn't, and most of the city has been renovated in recent years. And this is coming from a Belgian
