About Me

A relatively new fan of Sumo, I remember watching Chiyonofuji and Co in the late 80's/early 90's on television as a child with my father. Sadly, Channel 4 stopped coverage and many years passed where I lost contact with this great and unique sport. By chance in January 2011 I came across a Sumo bout on Youtube, on 'JasoninJapan's' channel to be precise, all the great memories came flooding back to me and I was instantly hooked. It only took me twenty years to start watching again but better late than never!

On the forum i hope to pick the brains of all and sundry (while enjoying their company) in my quest for more Sumo knowledge :)
