Not my best day today. Don't think I won in anything. The big disappointment was my zensho run crashing in Toto, and my recent good fortune with the TBs in SG is in payback this basho. Oh well. -
I would like to enter my picks for TTT; Tochinoshin to win Chiyotairyu to lose Thanks

Not a bad start to the year A couple of 11-4's in Bench and SG. Thank you for the bouquet Simon A trio of 10-5's in DST, ISP (seriously good for me) and Toto Usual disasters in CG (Day 1) and TTT, but you can't have everything! -

"Promotions/demotions: Scott and Gary are out of sanyaku. Owl should be at Sekiwake. I suppose Sergio has a chance of Makuuchi promotion if he gets 11. Steve and Ronnie too but they will need one or maybe two more." I would think it would be unlikely for me to get Juryo promotion even with 11 wins. I'll be happy to be able to repeat my performance from this basho if I can from the top of Makushita next time -

It's a coin toss as to whether I prefer beating that guy in a low scoring TB or what I just did to him there . You made my day punk -

Thanks for the good wishes guys, very much appreciated. Turned out to be Bells Palsy backed up by some other issues that need further treatment, but not a stroke or TIA thank goodness. -

Overall, a poor showing this basho. BS 6-9. After a 0-5 start, that was as good as I could expect! CG Day1 DST DiSasTerous. 3-12 ISP 9-6. Not bad by my standards Toto 7-8. About average for me. SG. 12-3. Jun Yusho and a personal best tally for me TTT 4-11. Nuff said -
Didn't this happen last basho also? I'm not too bothered about Toto and TTT since I'm MK in both, but I'd like the chance to improve my score in ISP.

That's what I was missing Thanks for putting me right.

Am I missing something? Isn't Asanoyama ranked lower than Takakeisho? Bout 40 - Gawasukotto (M2E) 7 [3-6] Sotogake Haidouzo (M11W) 7 [4-5] Haidouzo wins on the lowest ranked winning rikishi. Gawasukotto (M2E) 7 (Submitted by Gawasukotto at 15 Sep, 2019 09:39 PM JST) 4 Goeido [+] 3 Asanoyama [+] 3 Tsurugisho [-] 2 Tomokaze [-] 2 Onosho [-] Bench: Terutsuyoshi [-] Shimanoumi [-] Abi [-] Mitakeumi [+] Hakuho [-] - vs - Haidouzo (M11W) 7 (Submitted by Haidouzo at 16 Sep, 2019 12:12 AM JST) 4 Goeido [+] 3 Takakeisho [+] 3 Okinoumi [-] 2 Nishikigi [-] 2 Endo [-] Bench: Chiyotairyu [-] Shimanoumi [-] Kotoshogiku [-] Ryuden [+] Hakuho [-]

Simon, could you please check with the guy who runs SG. He's got the teams in my bout the wrong way round. I should be showing as winning 7-6 and I definitely didn't pick Shohozan! -

Yes, I replied from my email address. This is what I attempted to send; Sorry Simon, life is a fucking nightmare just now. My wife has been seriously ill again and another rel is on deaths door in hospital, as well as all the other usual crap life stuff. I just remembered the basho today. Sorry mate, but other stuff came first. -

Sorry Simon, I did reply to your email but you obviously didn't get it. Serious illness in the family, another death and all the stuff that goes with that, the furthest thing from my mind was the basho. I will hopefully be back in the New Year and making my way back up the banzukes.
