I missed you all sooo much *HUG* Yesterday long bouts, today short bouts, henkas and monoii. It never gets boring The Taganoura twins still undefeated and tied for the lead and we have kinboshi no. 5! Will Yoshikaze spoil Kise's zensho run with kinboshi no. 6?

I don't know what happened or what you did to fix it but thanks very much! Between Sumo Forum being down and @Kintamayama saying his videos could be days late due to gigs I was going through some serious withdrawal there.

And last not least, the niban shusse, going some way towards answering the question "How many rikishi can you fit on a dohyo" - at least 35. Wakainoue and Komaminato, who had missed most of their respective groups' competition, were also absent from the presentation.

Glad to know I wasn't the only one obsessively checking to see if the forums were back. Always glad when my main man Osunaarashi is doing well. I'm hoping he'll get well into double-digits, but then, I always hope that. Chiyoshoma's already thin enough, he doesn't need to get pancaked like that too much or he'll go two-dimensional. I do worry about Terunofuji being the spoiler. Kisenosato knows what he's doing in there, of course, but sheesh, what a monster. Still hoping Kisenosato will take the yusho and a perfect record would be SO freaking sweet. We'll see. But I like Takayasu, too, so I wouldn't be upset if it ends up being him instead. The pressure's on and I'm feeling more tense with each passing day. It's a fun ride, though!

Better late than... Breaking chronology for a moment here, a small round-up of the data changes that came out of the second presentation: The shikona for Tochikōdai and Yūkiumi were confirmed as previously given. Kaitōma was also confirmed as 魁當真 (the press coverage used the wrong 'to' kanji), and it's indeed with a long vowel after all. Masuyama's shusshin was "corrected" from Brazil to Aichi. Skinny ??-minato's shikona turns out to be Komaminato 高麗湊 こまみなと, while Yubinhaad was correct about hefty ??-minato who is named Satominato 郷湊 さとみなと. One Tatsunami-beya recruit (Taranami) already had a proper shikona from the get-go, but two others also received them in time for the presentation: Yamaga is now officially Toki 朱鷺 とき, and Arakaki went through the given-name-as-shikona machine and is now Minami 海波 みなみ. Edit: The various ?? and stuff in older posts have been fixed based on the above information, except the two Tatsunami shikona were left as is in the results posts because I'd like them to correspond to the video content.

Takanoiwa vs Takayasu's henka-one-henka-two skit is the most hilarious thing I've ever seen. And I've seen Shohozan face palm Goeidou out of the ring.

If this was not humiliating enough... The face you make when you get humiliated twice and still have to bow twice on the dohyo after the match and monoii. 2nd Hakuho kinboshi Hakuho: I am out of here, bye suckers!!!
