I've finally convinced my ears to hear "Haruminato" instead of "Brghu'ngsho":
Interference from the Klingon Empire is a known problem on the NSK stream - they are working feverishly on a solution.
Trying again with a silly schedule guess. Day 8 / Group A:
Mz17 Haruminato (1-2) Mz2 Fujita (1-2)
Mz20 Asatsurugi (1-1-1) Mz9 Kamenishiki (1-3)
Mz23 Okawara (1-2) Mz34 Ishihara (1-2)
Mz10 Asayudai (0-3) Mz24 Rikiyushi (0-2-1)
That assumes no absences in that group. Assuming things actually work out like that, the losers of the first three bouts and the winner of the last one should be matched up for another two bouts. And the losers of that round will get one last chance to achieve win #2, unless the resulting matchup is Asatsurugi-Asayudai or Fujita-Ishihara.
Unfortunately, I don't think there are any wakaimonogashira positions becoming available for a few years yet, but then again it never hurts to get your application in early.
By the way, Tsugarunada's shikona history on his Kyokai page
is just that - Tsugarunada. Maybe it was a late decision, or the paperwork wasn't signed in time or something. I do like the idea that two completely unrelated deshi in different heya have received shikona which, to my eyes anyway, are rather similar (Tsugarunada and Tsugaruumi).
